Last Tuesday February 6th was cold, windy, and rainy. At 4:00 PM, a time when most students of the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences would head home, those enrolled in the Honours Programme made their way to the second-floor auditorium for my Masterclass on Project Management.
The session was inspiring. Both ways. The students impressed me with their innovative ideas, perspectives and determination.
I received three invaluable lessons from them:
Despite their busy schedules, these students showed energy and passion. Their eagerness to learn and grow served as a reminder to stay fueled and enthusiastic about our work. Even if it is late and cold!
Their ability to present original ideas and concept without thinking in limitations, reminded me how vital this is for project management. It's time to cultivate a project environment that nurtures and welcomes fresh ideas. Every day!
The sheer joy and belief they exhibited in their work reminded me of the importance of staying engaged and passionate about what we do. We do projects because we want to achieve a goal. And we are passionate about it!
Let’s add energy, enthusiasm, and creativity to our project management dashboard.
These are the ingredients that fuel #success.
